We're Looking for Friends to March with Link to Libraries!
Join Link to Libraries in a grand march down the famed Mulberry Street - immortalized by children’s author and Springfield native Theodor Seuss Geisel - in honor of the opening of The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum. Led by the giant Cat in the Hat balloon and ending on the Springfield Museums’ campus, the procession will include antique cars and other vehicles as well as dignitaries and Springfield school children.
We are looking for friends, sponsors and volunteers to march with us - and we have 25 Dr. Seuss hats for the first friends to join us! Meet us at 8:00am on Union Street and Mulberry Street behind the Baystate Health building. Follow the noise and you will see us. The parade begins at 9:00am and marches 8/10 of a mile to the site for some great festivities. We hope to see you there!
