Link to Libraries Community Book Link sponsorship program plays a critical role in our efforts to dramatically improve a child’s chances for success by enhancing language and literacy skills through exposure to books and reading.
Our Read Aloud program connects volunteer readers with underserved 3rd and 4th grade classrooms throughout the region.
Through our Reading Any Place (RAP) program, Link to Libraries collaborates with local agencies, schools and other nonprofit organizations to provide new books and toys to homeless children from birth through grade seven.
The Celebrity Read Aloud Program provides a special opportunity for business leaders, politicians and local celebrities to share their love of reading with a classroom. Celebrity Readers are provided with a book to read aloud to students, as well as enough new books so that each child may choose one to take home and keep at the conclusion of the visit.
